About me
I was born in 1985 in Tyumen (Western Siberia, Russia). From the moment I touched my first IBM PC (and spent hours on Prince of Persia MS DOS), I knew my life would revolve around technology.
That curiosity turned into a lifelong pursuit. I studied software engineering and computer science, stayed at my university for Ph.D. studies, and earned my degree in technical sciences in 2010.

BIOGRAPHY
My career began as a software developer, but I was always drawn to entrepreneurship.
It started as freelancing “on the side”, grew into side/hobby projects, and later in first small scripts and templates for sale in 2012.
Later, it evolved into the wpDataTables product in 2013, WPAmelia in 2018, and later Trafft, MapSVG, and Ivy Forms.
By 2014, wpDataTables had grown enough for me to leave my day job and launch my own company.
It started as freelancing “on the side”, grew into side/hobby projects, and later in first small scripts and templates for sale in 2012.
Later, it evolved into the wpDataTables product in 2013, WPAmelia in 2018, and later Trafft, MapSVG, and Ivy Forms.
By 2014, wpDataTables had grown enough for me to leave my day job and launch my own company.
What started as a hybrid of agency work and plugin development evolved quickly into a software development company, providing software development services to corporate customers in one division – including healthtech companies, martech, logistic companies, and even large financial institutions in Europe and Asia – and developing our own in-house products in the other; the latter became our main focus over time.
In 2025, I transitioned that journey into Melograno Venture Studio — a 50+ person team whose products now power over 160,000 businesses worldwide.

Today I split my time between Belgrade and Dubai, expanding into the UAE and Middle East. I regularly speak at SaaS, WordPress, e-commerce, and entrepreneurship conferences, and I write actively on LinkedIn about scaling businesses, leadership, and founder psychology.
Looking ahead, my focus is on growing Melograno’s portfolio and distribution network while developing thought leadership that helps other entrepreneurs avoid common pitfalls.
